National Tradesmen day 2020

National Tradesmen Day with Triangle Electric

Throughout September, Triangle Electric was celebrating National Tradesmen Day which was created by Irwin tools in 2011 to celebrate and show just how important tradesmen are. It only happens once a year on the third Friday of September, but we believe honoring our tradesmen should happen all year long!

National Tradesmen Day Celebrates all of the hard-working people out there that do hands-on work to make our communities & homes function properly and efficiently. This includes electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and so much more. These committed men and women work hard to ensure that everything in our lives functions the way they should, which is why tradespeople are so important! Being a tradesman opens the door to numerous opportunities, and it is an incredibly rewarding career field! Every day is a new challenge, which brings a sense of accomplishment when you build or fix something with your own two hands.

Each trade field is different from the other, but they are each physically and mentally demanding in their own ways. Tradespeople have a unique skill to solve issues quickly and to get the job done! Being a tradesman opens the door to numerous opportunities, and it is an incredibly rewarding career field! Every day is a new challenge, which brings a sense of accomplishment whenever a job is completed. We believe that everybody should learn at least one trade in their life so that they can comprehend how interesting yet challenging it can be!

Christmas for Kids 2021 Triangle Electric supports Christmas for Kids. Help us bring awareness to this cause by supporting this year! The Christmas for Kids' crew is once more raising funds to help children in our community for this coming holiday season. Christmas for Kids needs your help to ensure that every child has a cheerful Christmas that they'll remember for many years. Each previous year we had seen this endeavor grow. We find more children in need & have more volunteers helping. For the past 25 years (this being the 26th), area businesses and individuals have continued to show their support. Your thoughtful donation will have a profound effect on these children. This past year (2020), we bought gifts, clothes, boots, etc. for 254 kids. Through word-of-mouth referrals, church groups, and other local programs we find many of these children's names. We don't simply buy a toy or a pair of shoes, but seek out the adult(s) in their life and really find out what's on their WANT and NEED list, including warm clothes. If you'd like to help with either of these events, please speak with your Christmas for Kids contact. We would love to have you help us shop, sort, box, or wrap gifts with us! Well over 99% of your donation goes back into the local community. For those of you who helped last year, we would like to thank you and again ask you to support this very worthwhile effort. Thanks once again. Merry Christmas and may God bless you!! Sincerely, CHRISTMAS FOR KIDS COMMITTEE In Memory of Eldon Heffer If you'd like to make a donation please make all check payable to: Christmas for Kids OR Please contact Randy at (702)- 770-9321 to arrange for someone to pick up your donation or if you have any questions regarding the event. Triangle Electric has been a part of the Bakken community since it was established in 1946! At the start of the company, a big part of the business was expanding rural electrification to western North Dakota and eastern Montana. By the 1950s, Triangle Electric had begun offering services to the oil and gas industry and had participated in the first major oil boom in the Williston Basin. As the Bakken grew, so did the amount of residential and commercial construction projects in the region, some of which still serve our communities to this day! Since then, Triangle Electric Inc. has grown with the Bakken and has continued to serve the Williston community and surrounding areas. Triangle Electric now has approximately 300 electricians and support staff to support the Bakken’s electrical needs! We are proud and honored to be named as Best Electrician for the Best of the Bakken 2020 Awards. At Triangle Electric, we take immense pride in our work, diligence, and dedication to providing the best electrical services in the region! We firmly believe that our people make the difference, and we wouldn’t have received this award without their hard work! We would like to express our gratitude to all who nominated & voted for Triangle Electric as Best Electrician, as well as our amazing team that made it happen! It is an honor to have received the Best of the Bakken 2020 Award for the fourth year in a row, and we look forward to continuing to provide electrical services to the Bakken!

Brandon Johnson has been a long-time employee of Triangle Electric! A month ago, we celebrated Brandon Johnson’s 16 year anniversary at Triangle Electric, and we couldn’t be happier about it. In celebration, we wanted to show the man behind the job! Brandon Johnson graduated from the North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) at Wahpeton in 2001. He started working for Triangle as an Apprentice Electrician, but he eventually obtained his ND journeyman’s license, and then went on to obtain his Master’s License. Triangle Electric is all about rewarding hard work, so Brandon worked his way up from the bottom to the top of this company. Outside of work, he is a proud father of 3 girls: Grace, Molly, and Sadie. He’s actively involved in their extracurricular sports (basketball), and he enjoys going on family vacations during the summer! He likes fishing and camping. Finally, he enjoys doing all of this with his wife Mellissa! He enjoys raising his family here in Williston, and he spends a large portion of his time into local community organizations such as the Williston Teton Booster Club, Williston State College Foundation, and many others. Thanks for all that you do Brandon!
